03 / Design philosophy

03 / Design philosophy

How should AI behave in a human-centered experience?

Sense context

Earn trust

Protect agency

Feel spatial

Respond with care

AI should clarify, not overwhelm

AR should make context visible

Emotion should inform interaction

Interfaces should leave room for choice

04 / Human signal

Im Gongjie (Sherry), a product designer in San Francisco exploring how intelligent systems can become more emotionally legible, spatially aware, and genuinely useful.
My work sits between product strategy, interaction design, AI behavior, and AR prototyping. Im drawn to the moment where an interface stops feeling like a screen and starts feeling like a thoughtful presence.

Working with Sherry felt like having a design partner who could translate an ambitious vision into an experience that felt clear, polished, and unexpectedly human.

05 / Invitation

Im looking for teams building the next generation of intelligent products: AI workflows, emotional companions, spatial interfaces, and tools that help people make better decisions without losing their sense of agency.

Let’s make intelligence feel more human.

[03] How I work

My process combines structured product thinking with rapid exploration.

I care deeply about clarity, interaction detail, and designing systems that can handle uncertainty, especially in AI-driven experiences where outcomes are not always predictable.

[04] What I am looking for

I’m currently seeking opportunities in product design, UX design, or AI-driven experience design.

I’m especially excited about teams working at the intersection of AI, interaction, and future-facing products.

If you’re building something meaningful, I’d love to be part of it. :)
